Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions?

Good. I’ve got answers.

  • In person at 9220 Kimmer Dr. Suite 240 Lone Tree, CO 80124.

Virtually across Colorado for counseling, across the US for coaching

  • Online counseling takes place over a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own space. At the time of your appointment, you will log in through a private link and we will meet just as we would in person. Sessions are typically 50 to 80 minutes, and all you need is a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private place where you feel comfortable. Many clients find online therapy to be flexible, convenient, and just as effective as in person work.

  • Yes! In-person counseling sessions are offered Mondays and Wednesdays. Couples intensives are offered Fridays by appointment only.

Individual sessions are $150 for a 50 minute session and $225 for an 80 minute session.

Couples sessions are $170 for a 50 minute session and $255 for an 80 minute session.

Couples intensives are offered at $600 for a 3 hour session.

Payment is due at the time of service. If you have questions about session length or what may be the best fit for you, we can talk through options together.

    Insurance
I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance directly. This allows for greater privacy, flexibility in treatment, and the ability to tailor our work to your needs rather than insurance requirements or diagnoses. For clients who wish to use out of network benefits, I am happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what is bringing you in. We will talk through your current concerns, any relevant background, and what you are hoping for moving forward. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say; we will take it step by step.

I will guide the conversation while also making space for what feels most important to you. We will begin to identify patterns, clarify goals, and get a sense of how we might work together. There is also time to ask questions and make sure the process feels like a good fit. The goal of the first session is not to solve everything, but to create a clear, supportive starting point for the work ahead.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, what you are working through, and the pace that feels right for you. Many clients begin to see meaningful shifts within about 12 to 16 sessions, especially when attending consistently. Some choose shorter term, focused work, while others continue longer for deeper exploration and ongoing support.

We will check in regularly about your goals and progress so that counseling remains intentional and aligned with what you need. There is no set timeline; the process is flexible and designed to support meaningful, lasting change at a pace that works for you.

  • A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of your care based on the information we have at the time. It is required under federal law for clients who are not using insurance, and it helps you understand what you can expect to pay for services.

Before or at the start of therapy, you will receive an estimate of the anticipated fees for your sessions and any related services. This estimate is not a contract, and actual costs may vary depending on your needs, frequency of sessions, or any changes in your treatment plan. If anything shifts, we can update your estimate and talk through options so you feel informed and supported in your decisions.
